We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs that ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment. The Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in identifying potential hazards, conducting training sessions, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform root cause analysis on incidents to determine underlying issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training on first aid, CPR, and occupational health practices to employees.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions through effective report writing.
- Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Monitor workplace conditions and recommend improvements to enhance safety measures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) related inquiries.
- Facilitate communication between employees regarding safety concerns and best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in a safety coordinator or similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation law, and occupational health standards.
- Experience in conducting training sessions on safety protocols, first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with EHS reporting requirements and practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis and developing actionable plans for improvement.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
