Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable

Investcloud is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounts Payable team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, and month-end close processes.

What does a great Staff Accountant do?

The ideal candidate will bring an analytical mindset and a commitment to process improvement, accuracy, and efficiency within our accounting processes. Accountant must be highly organized and eager to learn more about the business. Must be able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously. Candidate is expected to display a high degree of integrity and professionalism while working with financial documents.

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Be able to review and process vendor bills in a timely and accurate manner for multiple subsidiaries.
• Work with different business units on vendor bill discrepancies.
• Have the ability to review, analyze, and create Reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Be able to manage and put together our weekly payment runs for all domestic subsidiaries, while ensuring payments are sent out in a timely manner.
• Prepare month end accruals journal entries
• Analyze expense trends month over month.
• Assist in Pcard support collection efforts
• Work closely with vendor management on the Purchase Order process for clear and concise invoicing information.
• Assist in external audit requests.
• Lead year end 1099 reporting efforts.
  
  

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Previous vendor bill processing and accrual experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• CPA candidate preferred
• At least one-three years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus
• Analytical attitude and ability to resolve accounting problems with multiple variables
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to assist with projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; exhibit a sense of urgency in performing tasks
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to relate and clearly communicate with accounting team and other departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred; NetSuite is a plus

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
