- Learn and assist with FairEntry & 4Honline databases.
- Assist with preparing & coordinating shows and events. Including: collecting entries and fees, printing reports, show sheets, entry cards, updating binders and event tasks as assigned.
- Assist Superintendents & Volunteers in coordinating check-ins, data entry, show sheets, recording and entering results and tasks as assigned.
- Assist with preparing and coordinating 4-H Youth Fair activities. Activities include: Fashion Show, On-site Garden Judging and other events as assigned by office staff.
- Attend staff meetings or other events as assigned by the supervisor.
- Assist volunteers and staff with a variety of tasks.
- Submit records of program participation, program evaluation, and wage/mileage reports as required by the supervisor.
- Supervisors are the Grundy County Extension REED and Grundy County CYC.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing to youth and adults.
- Experience in organizing educational programs for youth.
- Experience working with groups.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer programs.
- Ability to work on projects with little supervision.
- Completion of one year of college preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and access to transportation.
- Must pass Child Protection and Safety Policy Screening prior to employment.
- Employment Dates: Negotiable. Approximately mid-May to early-August
- Salary: $12.00—$15.00 an hour based on experience for up to 200 hours.
