Default Resolution Specialist

Aspire Servicing Center, the loan servicing area for Aspire Resources Inc., is looking for a default resolution specialist to try to help customers reduce the negative impact of defaulted loans on their credit over time. The default resolution specialist helps customers set up agreements with lower monthly payments and no interest or fees. The position has a flexible hybrid work schedule with at least one in-office day per week required. Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM (Central time) Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will:

• Attempt to help defaulted customers by making outbound calls and answering inbound calls.
• Accurately update account notes during/after each communication.
• Effectively communicate with staff and customers.
• Comply with applicable state and federal laws.
• Exercise effective time management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies

The qualified candidate will:

• Have a positive mental attitude.
• Be detail-oriented with good time management skills and strong work ethic.
• Have excellent telephone etiquette.
• Be proficient in general PC skills, including Windows-based programs and typing.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Keyboarding of 30 wpm.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Physical Activities/Working Conditions

The position requires the employee to:

• Sit full time.
• Use office equipment including personal computer, keyboard and mouse.
• Frequently interact with others in person, over the phone, and via email and other devices.
