Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our contract manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient processes, managing staff, lean manufacturing, supply chain, (ERP, QA, Whse Mgmt) platform, reporting/forecasting, KPI's for continual improvement strategies. Also, this role requires a strong leader who can effectively negotiate with vendors, manage inventory, and foster a positive team culture.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity across all departments.
- Manage inventory levels, including stock ordering and replenishment to meet customer demand.
- Utilize ERP system to analyze data and reporting to develop efficiency/improvement on the manufacturing floor. Make informed decisions regarding production of materials.
- Train and develop staff to enhance their skills in standard operation procedures, safety and delivering quality products on time - every time.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for purchasing stock and supplies.
- Implement and maintain effective point-of-sale (POS) systems to streamline transactions.
- Ability to Collaborate in a Sales Driven Culture to help provide quality products to improve overall performance of the company.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Skills
- Strong understanding of cGMP principles for effective operations managment.
- Proficient in managing stock levels and conducting inventory audits.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor interactions and purchasing agreements.
- Familiarity with FDA ISO 13485 Audits.
- Experience in training development for staff enhancement and performance improvement.
- Background in contract manufacturing operations is a plus.
- Proven ability in operations management with a focus on achieving targets in a fast paced environment.
