What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll & Benefits Specialist position at Ipswich Public Schools?
This position will be responsible for assigned direct and support functions within the Office of Finance and Operations in the regular processing and reporting of payroll and benefits administrative actions, including bi-weekly processing of payroll, accounting for leave and benefit deductions, and general support to the business and human resource functions of the Ipswich Public Schools. Understanding of school district employee work schedules, financial policies and benefit management practices, and collective bargaining agreements will be needed and beneficial. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist position is a full-time benefited position reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations.
