Job Overview:
IQT's strategic investment activities involve ambitious, fast-paced, high-risk work programs that, when successful, deliver enormous mission impact to IQT’s Intelligence Community (IC) partners. These work programs, which span all technical areas, are powered by a team of tenacious, proactive, and creative Program Managers (PMs) that are experts in accelerating and maximizing impact. Our PMs are ‘go-getters’ with a strong desire to make a difference in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage the deliverables, expectations, and relationships for 8-12 work programs involving portfolio companies and IC partners.
- Efficiently facilitate work program activities, coach portfolio companies, resolve conflicts, minimize delays, transfer deliverables, develop solution transfer plans, and wind down any late-stage work programs to minimize downstream issues.
- Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate with IQT staff, portfolio companies, interface centers, and IC partners around work program progress, issues, and results.
- Drive impact for IC partners by enabling successful solution transfer efforts, accelerating solution transfer timelines, facilitating multi-partner engagements, strengthening existing IC partner relationships, and identifying new potential users of portfolio company technologies.
- Strategically identify areas to increase IQT’s value-add to portfolio companies, to include supporting the development of new work programs in conjunction with other IQT staff.
- Diligently record all program information in internal systems to include regular and timely updating of program progress, contract/deliverable updates, and solution transfer projections/details.
Qualifications
- B. A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in technical program/project management; familiarity/comfort with contract language a plus.
- Experience in a people-focused role; proven ability to develop stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment; ability to exercise flexibility and good judgment in complex situations.
- Candidates with active top-secret clearance preferred; at a minimum, candidate must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
