Description:
Under the direction of (insert manager title & group description), the Senior Director, Mission Partnerships will serve as the principal point of contact and account manager for IQT’s (insert agency) account or multiple IQT Partner accounts. This candidate will translate our partners’ highest priority use cases and apply venture-backed startup technology to impact operations and analysis across these Partnerships. Working across an extremely diverse mission set and diving deep into partner challenges, the candidate serves as the primary liaison between the government partner and the emerging technology ecosystem. Working across a broad, cross-functional team, including IQT staff as well as government representatives, in a fast-paced, collegial, and collaborative environment for the sole purpose of impacting mission.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal point of contact with the government partner Interface Center, successfully managing the partnership, identifying strategic objectives to which IQT can contribute, and driving IQT resources to find/implement technologies that support their missions.
- Develop and execute a strategy to align IQT’s capabilities and added value programs with government partner problems and priorities.
- Prioritize and ensure alignment of government partner needs with investment opportunities and other IQT impact vectors.
- Design and implement an engagement plan that maps IQT tech and Investment team members to key stakeholders.
- Principal for identifying, driving, and executing new growth opportunities within and outside existing IQT partnerships.
- Prioritize and ensure alignment of partner needs with investment opportunities and other IQT impact vectors. Lead the delivery of key IQT impact vectors to partners, including situational awareness, Insights, IQT Labs, and advisory services.
- Lead coordination between IQT Teams and government partners to create technology transfer plans, facilitate testing and evaluation of IQT technologies, surface/resolve problems, and improve current technology solution transfer practices, including identifying additional end-users for emerging technology pilots.
- Partner with IQT teammates to collect and document impact stories.
- Direct the planning and coordination efforts for IQT’s corporate events both internally and with our partner.
- Serve as the principal sounding board to IQT colleagues on government partner’s needs and priorities based on ongoing interaction.
- Ability to identify best practices and then design and implement new processes and/or procedures to better support the government partner’s overall mission.
- Develop and maintain a robust professional network of contacts within government agencies as a resource for identifying the highest priority mission challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience (or equivalent experience) working across the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD), with a minimum of 5 years directly supporting (insert agency) and/or Intelligence Community IC and/or DoD experience in one of the following disciplines: Analysis, Counterterrorism, Cybersecurity, Acquisitions, Operations, Collection, Information Technology, Law Enforcement, Operations, U.S. Immigration, etc.)
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to hold/maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.
- Experience serving large, complex government organizations in one of the following managerial capacities – customer success, strategic development, account/program management or technical sales support.
- Effective at establishing and maintaining ongoing interaction with government partner executives, management, and technologists, including demonstrated experience in developing and implementing an account-wide plan/program.
- Ability to work with strong technologists and subject matter experts, including a proven track record of earning the confidence of such players.
- Effective in orchestrating cross-functional company efforts addressing a government partner’s technology requirements, including working with company executives and business/investment managers responsible for sourcing companies with solutions.
- Experience working with leading-edge technologies, including supporting a wide range of technologies at any given time.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, demonstrate an accurate understanding of a government partner’s technology requirements as well as the company’s ability to address those needs.
