REQUIREMENTS :
English required; Bilingual (particularly Spanish, Chuukese) preferred. Experience with Permanent Supportive Housing and / or Homeless Preference preferred. Must be able to pass extensive background check. Driving and proof of auto insurance required.

Program Summary
Hazel Ying Lee Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program provides wrap-around, comprehensive support to families with children who are identified as being currently at risk or experiencing homelessness. IRCO delivers culturally responsive services to the population we are serving. Support services for Hazel Ying Lee consists of retention services and housing placement services that are flexible, tenant-driven, voluntary, individualized, and culturally specific and / or culturally responsive. IRCO staff is responsible for providing on-site services for 30 permanent supportive housing (PSH)units, as well as referral and linkage to outside resources, timely documentation, and program reporting.
Position Summary
PSH Retention Specialist II, assist individuals and / or families who are at risk of, or fully, experiencing homelessness obtain or retain long-term permanent housing. This role utilizes a housing first, strengths-based, empowerment model to cultivate trust, establish and promote trauma-informed communication, provide advocacy, direct services and support, and case management that facilitates, encourages, and assists clients to reach their goals. The PSH Retention Specialist II utilizes their experience in homeless services and / or affordable housing as well as housing stabilization programs to enhance and improve programming, facilitates working groups, and is sometimes called upon to mentor less experienced staff members (Specialist I). This position us based onsite to work directly with participants and provide housing first, culturally responsive, and participant-centered services that focus on housing placement, retention, and well-being.
