We are seeking an experienced ICP Instrumentation Specialist to join our team, focusing on elemental analysis using Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) instruments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and optimizing EPA-compliant methods for ICP elemental analysis, ensuring precise and accurate results in environmental testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and validation of EPA methods for elemental analysis using ICP instrumentation.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ICP instruments (ICP-OES, ICP-MS) to ensure consistent and high-quality data generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize ICP methodologies for compliance with EPA standards.
  • Analyze and interpret complex ICP elemental data, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expertise in calibration, quality control, and continuous improvement of ICP analytical methods.
  • Stay current with advancements in ICP technology and EPA regulations, integrating best practices into the lab's operations.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with ICP instruments (ICP-OES, ICP-MS), including method development for EPA compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of EPA standards related to elemental analysis.
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex ICP-related issues.
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills, with a focus on environmental testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
