Insurance Account Manager

Iron Insurance Partners is growing! We are in search of an Insurance Account Manager. This position is part of our Farm Insurance Production Team. Farm Account Manager’s perform a wide range of duties to support the team and to contribute to the growth of our agency by providing professional service for our clients. The ideal Farm Account Manager will enjoy project driven tasks as they navigate our clients through their annual stewardships, change requests, marketing accounts, prepare proposals and develop lasting relationships both with clients and other team members.

Duties/Responsibilities:

QUOTING:

- Enter prospects in AMS360

- Work with producers to determine appropriate markets and review quote options

- Work with underwriters on coverage options

NEW BUSINESS:

- Prepare application and list of items producer will need to finalize the application

- Submit completed applications to company.

- When new policy is received, review it thoroughly for accuracy, advise company of any corrections that need to be made.

CHANGE REQUESTS:

- Take change requests over phone or in person from insured

- Submit policy changes to companies

- Process and follow up on submitted changes to confirm accuracy

CLAIMS:

- Take claim information from Insured, submit to appropriate company on required forms, and task for follow up and send claim card to Insured

- Follow up on all claims assigned to you, work with support staff assigned to follow up on questions they may have for your accounts and send claim feedback questionnaire when closed.

RENEWALS:

- Process all renewals

- Review all renewals for pricing, coverage, credit and account rounding opportunities. Advise producer of substantial changes in premiums and/or coverages.

- Complete farm renewal letter with blanket inventory, if applicable.

REMARKETING:

- Determine when and why an account may need remarketing. Discuss options with the producer on the account.

PAYMENTS:

- Upload or mail payments as necessary; monitor agency bill payments.

- Monitor Intent to Cancel notifications for nonpayment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
