An established hospital located just outside of Wichita, Kansas is seeking full-time, permanent Employee Health Specialist to join their team!
The Employee Health Specialist Job Description:
- Full-time, direct hire position
- Mon-Fri schedule, day shift

- The Employee Health (EH) Specialist endeavors to promote health and safety to all employees by facilitating the EH Program. This position also provides Work Comp case consultation and promoting a safe work environment. Additionally, this role monitors federal and state regulations for employee health and safety; interprets the regulations to management, including OSHA-compliant Accident Prevention Program for all employees; monitors and deliver regular, periodic reports of organizational compliance, including all levels of employees (staff and management personnel) to monitor and recommend education strategies. Activities are reported to the Safety Committee. The EH Specialist reports to the Director of Human Resources. This a non-exempt position.
The Employee Health Specialist Minimum Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have had 3 years’ experience working in health care
- The Preferred candidate will have experience in some aspects of employee health and/or infection control.
- Current Kansas MA, LPN or RN license
- BLS Certification
