Overview:
IronWatch Security is seeking qualified Event Security Officers to join our team. We are creating a pool of candidates to ensure we have skilled personnel available for upcoming events. Our Event Security Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and event organizers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor event premises to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed.
- Conduct access control at entry points and verify credentials of attendees.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and law enforcement as necessary.
- Perform regular patrols of the event area to deter and detect security breaches.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to guests and event staff.
- Report and document any security incidents or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Valid security guard registration, license, or certification, as required by local regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Possess a Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Registration.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driver positions.
- Pass a background check.
- Available to work all schedules/shifts, including weekends and holidays.
