A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Education: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, organizational development, psychology, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.Experience: Two (2) years of technical human resources experience equivalent to a Human Resources Technician is required. Public sector Human Resources experience preferred. Licenses and CertificationsA valid Class “C” California Driver’s License is required. Society for Human Resources Management, Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or International Public Management Assoc. - Human Resources, Certified Professional (IPMA-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (IPMA-SCP) is desired.
