Title: Quality Manager - Corrugated Packaging
Location: Maryland
Package: $100,000 - $110,000 Bonus
Irving Knight are currently partnered with a large Packaging company searching for a new Quality Manager. This role will be based out of their facility near Federalsburg, MD, and will be full time on site, 5 days a week. You will be managing a team of 2 individuals within the facility, with a large scope for growth.
Experience with SQF or other food safety certification is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
- Lead training programs for employees on quality assurance practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5 years of quality experience essential, with 2 years of safety experience preferred
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience
- Knowledge of food safety certifications such as SQF, BRC etc.
