We have an opportunity for a Wireless Network Engineer to support our client with end to end wireless network infrastructure solutions.
Position Overview
- nalyzing, designing, implementing enterprise Wireless (Wi-Fi) solutions
- Implementation and troubleshooting of wireless network infrastructure including but not limited to WLAN, LAN, WAN, DMZ and the Datacenter
- Design, deploy, maintain, and support wireless infrastructure including CISCO WLCs, Cisco Access Points, Client appliance, Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNAC / Prime) Appliance
- Design, deploy, maintain, and support wireless infrastructure including Juniper MIST, Juniper Access Points
- Perform assessments, testing and validation of Wi-Fi services to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements, including troubleshooting complex issues and implementing improvements
- Work with other platform owners to architect and implement changes to meet business needs, resolve issues, modernize the organization and its technologies
- Implement and enforce network security protocols and standards to protect against potential threats and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes to support operational efficiency and knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in designs, configurations, and implementations Qualifications
- Formal training or certification(s) or work experience(s) (5 years) on network wireless engineering
- Experience with Cisco - CISCO WLCs, Cisco Access Points, Client appliance, Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNAC / Prime) Appliance
- Experience with Juniper - Juniper MIST Edge, Juniper MIST Access Assurance (Cloud-based Controller), Juniper Access Points
- Proficiency in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting the above network infrastructures
- Understanding of Guest Wi-Fi and DMZ Security Zones
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, protocols, and standards
- Knowledge of network technologies such as firewall, proxy, and load balancer
- Knowledge of network services and tools such as Radius, DNS, NTP, SYSLOG, SSH, etc.
- TCP / IP subnetting
- Microsoft Visio to update network topology diagram(s)
- Familiarity of cloud and cloud technologies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills Preferred qualifications
- Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP Wireless)
- utomation and programming languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in large enterprise environment(s)
- Experience in Banking / Finance environment(s)
