Job Overview

• The Student Exchange Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating and managing student exchange programs. This position is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, orientation, and support of high school age international students participating in exchange programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cultural exchange and education, with experience in mentoring and social work. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to educate and guide exchange teens throughout their academic cultural homestay.

What You'll Do

• Recruit Host Families: Find warm, welcoming volunteer families eager to provide a home away from home for international students.
• Collaborate with Schools: Work closely with local schools to ensure students are enrolled smoothly and compliant with all requirements.
• Provide Ongoing Support: Be a reliable resource for both students and families throughout the school year, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all.

• Area Representatives are required to conduct several in-person visits to the exchange students and host families they match. These visits are vital as they provide a personal touch that emails and phone calls simply can't match. By meeting face-to-face, representatives can better understand the dynamics between the student and the host family, offering tailored support and guidance. Will you be able to provide this service?
• Have you participated in student exchange programs in the past? If yes, in what capacity?

Experience:

• classroom teaching: 3 years (Preferred)
• parenting: 10 years (Preferred)
