Accounting Associate-

An Accounting Associates role within Island Deliveries is to perform tasks such as data entry, reconciling, reports preparation, etc. An Accounting Associate will act as a key administrative support between our warehouse team and our accounting department ensuring that all product and information has been correctly entered into our system. The target is to ensure procedure is followed, account standards are met, respond efficiently to email inquiries from both parties within Island Deliveries and outside, and maintain high customer satisfaction. An Accounting Associate must be efficient with outlook and excel and be comfortable communicating at a high level with different departments. The Accounting Associate will be working directly under the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the companies needs to achieve satisfaction
• Ensure all needed information has been entered into correct portals
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of account interactions, process accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

Qualifications

• Proficient in accounting principles and financial concepts
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of accounting practices
• Excellent communication and customer support skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

Pay: $20.00 an hour

Shift would be from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
