Island Retreat RV Park is seeking to hire a Guest Services Specialist who will assist in weekend office operations and routine administrative responsibilities, working closely with other team members. The right candidate will be upbeat, productive, and serve as a friendly face of the park!

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum One Year Customer Service experience.
Minimum One Year prior experience in hospitality, reservations and/or Front Desk operations. RV Park/Campground experience is a plus.
Must possess strong customer service skills, basic sales skills, & good problem-solving skills.
Must exhibit excellent telephone communication and a professional demeanor.
Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, and ability to provide data entry in an efficient and timely manner.
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, Email applications, & Internet. Knowledge of Google Suite products preferred.
Above average communication skills - both written and oral - are required.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend, and occasionally lift heavy packages.
Must be able to work harmoniously and professionally with other team members.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Greet and interact professionally with guests, both current and prospective, in email, phone, and face to face interactions.
Use RV park management software to manage all aspects of reservations, send guest correspondence, & process transactions.
Capture sales from incoming calls and emails, focused on converting inquiries into bookings.
Contact travel planners to clarify requests, guarantee unconfirmed reservations, and clear wait-listed bookings.
Handle guest complaints, and field comments & complaints to the Manager when needed.
Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, and filing.
Assist in billing processes. Collect and post deposits, payments, or funds for other services.
Complete and maintain RV park records and files. Run daily reports for reservations, revenue management and operational departments.
Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and prepare supply orders as needed.
Prepare and distribute park communications such as rule reminders, violation notices, newsletters, etc.
Assist with the preparation of events & activities within the park, distribution of marketing materials, and coordinate with marketing team.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Must: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: College level education in hospitality, business, marketing or similar
