Description
A Baker is responsible for the production of baked goods for the property including multiple outlets and sometimes banquets focusing on quality product preparation while practicing safe food handling and sanitation in accordance with the Mississippi Department of Health codes and national ServSafe® guidelines; Reports to Assistant Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef; Kitchen manager; Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef(s).
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent and two to three years of previous experience working in a bakery (private industry, military, institutional, banquet or casino). Ability to pipe and decorate cakes, prioritize, organize, multi-task, perform under extreme pressure and possess people and time management skills.
