Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, maintain and improve our IT systems, and ensure that our technology infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Analyze and diagnose complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
- Maintain and improve our IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware applications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field
- Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Experience with helpdesk software and ticketing systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Certification in CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , or equivalent
- Some travel is required
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Certification in CompTIA Security or equivalent

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
