Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development efforts, ensuring alignment with project timelines using feature-driven Agile methodology.
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans, tracking progress and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Identify and document risks, issues, and contingency plans, facilitating resolution and removing barriers to project success.
- Provide regular status updates and facilitate team meetings to communicate progress and address challenges.
- Oversee the development of SDLC artifacts, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills.
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to current staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years of project management experience in large-scale enterprise implementations.
- 8 years of experience in State of Texas or similar federal/state project management.
- 8 years of development experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with PMP Certification.
- 5 years of experience with the State of Texas Project Delivery Framework.
- 3 years of experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- 2 years of experience with Salesforce.
- 2 years of experience in state procurement and contracting.
- 1 year of experience with Jira.
