• Maintains operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration 
• The team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management
• Will work closely with the customer and peer personnel to accomplish these responsibilities
• Provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues
• Assist the Information Assurance team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents

Qualifications

• Minimim of 9 years of experience, or 7 with an advanced degree
• Must have Active Secret clearance to start, must be SCI eligible (preferred)
• Adept/Primary experience with RedHat Linux
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows
• Awareness of SGI IRIX, Sun Solaris IBM AIX and Cisco IOS
• Experience / familiarity with DevSecOps
• Background with Jira Server Managmeent (JSM)
• Integration experince 
• Knowledge/experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development is highly preferred
• Security admin with cyber knowlege in Splunk / cyber security suite on a development program is highly preferred
• Configuration management - RHEL/RedHat, Splunk, Ansible, JSM, Terraform, SaS scanning experience, PostGresSQL 9-15, Bash and Ansible are all highly preferred
• Security Required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
