Position Title: Quality Manager

Location: Bowling Green, OH 43402 (On-Site)

Job Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 base salary Full Benefits

We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee two on-site laboratories, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and customer specifications. This is a critical leadership role focused on maintaining quality systems, driving process improvements, and fostering collaboration across teams and with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage two on-site laboratories, ensuring accurate sampling, testing, inspection, and reporting.
• Maintain safety standards and resolve analytical or equipment challenges effectively.
• Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate closely with production teams and customers to meet quality specifications and address any concerns.
• Supervise, train, and develop laboratory staff while addressing performance and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3-5 years of laboratory management experience in plastics manufacturing, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biology (preferred).
• Expertise in ISO 9001 standards with internal auditor certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and instruments such as PET-IV viscometers and gas chromatography analysers.
• Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma credentials.
• Experience with process improvement and team leadership in a manufacturing environment.
