Essential role and responsibilities
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting businesses with their computing environments day to day and working to align their technology with their short-term and long-term business objectives
- Listen to customer needs and provide IT solutions that resolve client computing challenges.
- Deployment of computing environments including network, workstation, and server installation, as well as IT services onboarding.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop/server/network issues for clients.
- Document work performed in ticketing system.
- Document site information in document management system.
- Remote troubleshooting from your home office as well as on-site visits to client sites when needed.
Technical Skills
- 3 year of experience providing IT support to businesses.
- IT industry certifications such as A , Net and Sec
- Strong experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems 10/11.
- Proficient with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network routers/firewalls, ethernet switches, and wireless access points.
- Experience with Microsoft 365

- Confidence under pressure and in the face of the unknown

- Strong communication skills including the ability to listen to the clients and your peers
- Persistence to see a problem through to its resolution
- Ability to concisely summarize a problem and steps taken to resolve it
