Business Immigration Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research on U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting businesses and foreign nationals.
• Advise corporate clients on employment-based immigration processes, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2, EB-5, PERM, and I-9 compliance.
• Draft and file a wide range of legal documents such as petitions, motions, PERM applications, waivers, and appeals.
• Collaborate with HR teams and internal stakeholders to develop immigration strategies aligned with business needs.
• Represent clients in USCIS interviews, administrative hearings, and other immigration-related proceedings.
• Supervise and delegate work to paralegals and legal support staff to ensure timely and accurate case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, USCIS policies, and DOL regulations to ensure compliance and proactive client advising.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in business immigration law, specifically employment-based immigration.
• Proven expertise in drafting persuasive and technically accurate legal documents.
• Strong experience advising corporate clients and handling high-volume immigration caseloads.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client engagement.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.
• Language proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
