IT’SUGAR, known for its bold, cheeky brand voice and candy-filled retail experiences, is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our growing digital presence across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:
Social Strategy & Content Leadership
- Lead and execute IT’SUGAR’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube
- Develop platform-specific strategies and creative content tied to the e-commerce marketing calendar, product launches, and seasonal brand campaigns
- Partner with e-commerce to support digital platforms like TikTok Shop, ITSugar.com, Amazon, and more, providing content that drives awareness, conversion, and community engagement
- Create or oversee engaging short-form video, lifestyle imagery, and branded assets using platforms like Illustrator, Photoshop, and CapCut
- Maintain a bold, consistent, and playful brand voice across all platforms
Influencer & Brand Collaborations
- Own IT’SUGAR’s influencer strategy using Sprout’s Influencer Management tool (formerly Tagger), including outreach, communication, and performance tracking
- Work closely with licensed and co-branded partners (e.g., Tokidoki, Pomp, Snow & CIRQUE, OREO, HARIBO) on product collection launches, social media collaborations, and experiential campaigns
- Manage social initiatives and digital storytelling for nonprofit campaigns, such as our partnership with Make-A-Wish, and coordinate activations and giving programs
E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Integration
- Collaborate closely with the e-commerce team to align social strategy with product launches, promotions, and key moments across TikTok Shop, itsugar.com, and Amazon
- Deliver content for digital advertising, paid media campaigns, and email marketing support
- Track and optimize performance of social-driven traffic and UGC for digital selling platforms
In-Store & Experiential Marketing
- Partner with store teams, district managers, and mall property marketing contacts to execute in-store events, product sampling, activations, and seasonal experiences
- Coordinate signage, bounce-back coupons, and other in-store marketing tools
- Support visual updates for digital signage and store media platforms like Rockbot
Brand Communications & Public Relations
- Manage the marketing@itsugar.com inbox and assist in coordinating press calendar updates with third-party PR agency
- Collaborate on press release content, influencer requests, and external media opportunities to support store openings, exclusive launches, and brand moments
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or lead capacity
- Proven ability to execute multi-platform content strategies and grow brand channels
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce integration, UGC strategy, and content creation for social commerce (TikTok Shop, Amazon, DTC platforms)
- Proficient in Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and short-form video editing tools
- Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills
- Creative, collaborative, and highly organized with a love for pop culture, trends, and digital storytelling
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with lifestyle, retail, or consumer goods brands
- Background in digital commerce or social selling platforms
- Knowledge of influencer CRM systems and campaign reporting
