Responsibilities:
- Provide Systems Engineering expertise and knowledge
- Identify, analyze, and document system, design, interface, assessment, and validation/verification requirements, including risk assessments
- Provide Prime Contractor proposal technical evaluation and analysis
- Collaborate across the MDA organization (including multinational exchanges)
- Present technical information to MDA Leadership at various levels
- Site deployment planning and integration
- Site support and sustainment through transition
- Stakeholder coordination
- Planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of site and system deployment requirements
- Developing acquisition plans and supporting procurement actions
- Performing special research or technical studies critical to deployment and logistic support functions
- Developing policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site deployment, system deployment, logistical, and operational practices
- Developing and implementing program activities, coordinating efforts of MDA stakeholders, prime and subcontractors, and field service personnel
- Resolving problems in the area of site deployment and logistics to ensure mission requirements are met
- Preparing analysis, providing advice, and making recommendations to MDA leadership
- Conducting special studies and providing routine and short-notice support by developing briefings, papers, status reports, web-based materials, and database materials
- Providing construction project management, including master schedules, budget, and configuration management
- Other duties as assigned
- Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 13 years of relevant experience
- MA/MS in any field may be substituted for 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in oral and written communications; demonstrated ability to prepare and present briefings
- Capable of leading and executing analytical task, utilizing both analytical techniques, and processes for complex developmental and operational programs
- Ability to analyze, formulate alternatives, and resolve issues
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate customer requirements and needs
- Ability to work with Government leadership and contract support personnel to respond to, plan for, and meet quick-response product requests
- Ability to work independently with little supervision to produce consistently exceptional work products
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships with individuals and groups at various levels of authority and responsibility within and outside the organization
- Ability to organize large quantities of diverse data into concise and useful information
- Proficiency in preparing and reporting technical information to peers and Government leadership
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, high stress environment
- Capable of providing daily supervisor and direction to support teams
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret security clearance as required
