Job Title: Plastic Welder
Location: Chandler, AZ
Duration: 6 months extendable contract
Day shift - 6 am - 6 pm PST
2nd Shift - 12 pm - 12 am PST
Sunday through Tuesday every week and every other Wednesday / Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.
Description:
The Plastic Welder specializes in joining and repairing plastic components using heat and pressure working with hand-welding machinery. Responsibilities encompass reading blueprints, selecting appropriate welding equipment, and ensuring high-quality, durable welds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Plastic welding according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Operate and maintain welding equipment to ensure efficient and effective performance
- Inspect and examine welds to ensure that they meet quality standards and project specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine welding
- requirements
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and coordinate welding projects
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure its longevity and optimal
- performance
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in plastic welding techniques, equipment, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise and accurate welding
- Attention to detail and quality control to ensure finished products meet standards
- Flexibility to work in various environments and with different types of plastics
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other welders and supervisors
- Good math skills
- Experience using grinders, saws all, drills and Dremel tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of standing for long periods of time
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Salary : $20 - $25
