The IT Systems Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware or software. Responsible for responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating the problem and determining and implementing a solution.

Proven working experience in providing Help Desk support

Experience in a real-time critical production environment

Associates Degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Proficiency in MS Office Suite
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN:
*
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware, onsite or remote
*
Respond to queries either in person, e-mail or over the phone
*
Train computer users
*
Respond to IT Support Tickets for end users seeking assistance
*
Ask questions to determine the nature of technical problems
*
Walk customer through problem-solving process
*
Install, modify and repair computer hardware and software
*
Use troubleshooting knowledge to resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and other systems
*
Install computer peripherals for users
*
Follow-up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
*
Document user issues and contact in the Help Desk application
*
Maintain process and resolution documentation
*
Assist with mobile device setup and deployment (cellphones, tablets, etc.)
*
Install software and prepare PCs for end users
*
Train end users on hardware or software
*
