Contract consulting opportunity for an experienced project manager in facilities/space management.
As the Project Manager, your role will involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning through execution, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hybrid onsite - Minneapollis, MN area 3days/week
- Client work authorization requirements: US Citizen or GC holder
- Client other requirements: W2 hourly only (no c2c). And due to hybrid, looking for local to MN candidates.
As the Project Manager, your role will involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning through execution, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Facilities Space Planning: Collaborate closely with the Facilities Space Planning team to gain a comprehensive understanding of stack, block, and fit plans.
- Plan Creation and Management: Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns or requirements.
- Customer Communication: Liaise with customers to keep them informed about project progress and manage their expectations.
- Schedule Management: Oversee the project schedule to ensure timely completion of all phases.
- Coordinate IT Resources: Work in conjunction with IT Project Manager to coordinate necessary IT resources.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Coordinate with Communications Team: Collaborate with the communications team to ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in Facilities Management/Space Management with a strong background in project management leadership.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging with stakeholders and customers.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT resource management and budget oversight.
