Annual salary range is $45,300 to $67,500, plus benefits and incentives

ITT Habonim is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Wayne, NJ. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Financial Controller.
Essential Responsibilities
- Variety of secretarial and administrative duties including but not limited to travel arrangements, lunches, and ordering / stocking of office supplies.
- Perform collection functions on past due transactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure timely collection and resolution of outstanding issues.
- Work closely with logistics to monitor and control shipments to accounts in delinquent status in an effort to minimize potential bad debts.
- Investigate items in dispute (i.e. short payments, overpayments, deductions, etc.) with customers.
- Conduct credit worthiness to approve Domestic or International orders within assigned authority levels by using the following tools: Dun & Bradstreet, Credit Reports, Trade reports, References, & etc.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Data entry - Vendor/Inventory invoices
- Other duties as assigned
- 3 years of office experience
- HSD or GED is required
- Experience with credit and collections is required
- Strong excel skills (formulas, macros, pivot tables, v lookups)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and strong analytical skills
- Accounting background is preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team
