Front Desk Agent

Ivey’s Motor Lodge is seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Front Desk Associate to join our team in Houlton, Maine. In this customer-facing role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a welcoming and exceptional stay. Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out processes.

• Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.

• Accurately process payments, refunds, and adjustments in the property management system.

• Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing guest records and preparing reports.

• Monitor lobby and common areas for safety and cleanliness.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest service.

Requirements:

• Previous front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent guest service.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems (training will be provided).

• Availability to work the 3 PM - 11 PM shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
