Material Handler 1st Shift

Shift 10pm to 6am

Responsibilities:

• Replenish raw materials, component parts, packaging, etc. at each machine as required to maintain minimum/maximum required stock levels.
• Transportation of finished goods to designated warehouse/shipping location
• Ensure that batch log books are filled in correctly and that material changes are processed and recorded according to each IPO.
• Ensured all material, including finished goods are correctly booked in the system and stored in correct warehouse/shipping location.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness expectation throughout the factory. Comply with all safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• Notify product planning/scheduling/purchasing of all material shortages. Participate in monthly inventory counts.
• Provide continuous improvement ideas.
• Monitor stock and report discrepancies in quantities.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have previous material handling experience
• Must have basic computer skills for data input of moved goods
• Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to excel
• Should possess excellent math skills
• Should possess excellent written and oral communication skills to allow interaction with employees and management in a professional manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
