What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repair Technician - Engine Driven Welding Machines position at IWS - Gas & Supply of Harvey (Service Center)?
- Safely troubleshoot and repair engine driven welding machines along with their accessories (Wire feeders, electrode holders, MIG guns, ground clamps, etc.) with competent speed and accuracy.
- Function test all repaired machines by load banking and weld testing.
- Must be able to read and comprehend electrical wiring diagrams, specification sheets, and part breakdowns from various manufacturers.
- Must have knowledge of how to safely use a variety of electrical testing equipment. Such as a digital multimeter, amp probe, and power supplies.
- Must be able to perform engine maintenance and repairs.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Electrical background is preferred.
- Engine/generator knowledge is preferred.
- Welding background is a plus.
- Experience preferred but we're willing to train.
- Must pass drug test.
- Must pass background check.
- Pay based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
