SUMMARY
Provision and support on-premises and remote end-user hardware and software. Troubleshoot and solve Windows Server / 10 / 11, mobile device, and network problems. Manage and maintain network and server infrastructure. Develop, test, and maintain queries, reports, and code modules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee must perform every essential duty satisfactorily to perform this job satisfactorily. These include the following, with other duties as assigned :
- Install, configure, and administer Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems
- Provision accounts and manage Active Directory
- Install, configure and maintain business software applications e.g. Epicor, phone system
- Install and configure infrastructure e.g. firewalls, switches, WAP, thin clients, security system
- Provision and support hardware e.g. computers, printers, handheld scanners and cell phones
- Review technology related problems and recommend solutions
- Monitor server metrics and alerts
- Monitor automated processes e.g. scheduled reports, backups
- Monitor ticketing system and respond promptly to requests for assistance
- Monitor and test system backup and recovery (Veeam)
- Design and execute SQL queries to support reporting or problem resolution
- Create, update, and troubleshoot reports (SSRS and / or Crystal Reports)
- Manage RDBMS (MS SQL Server)
- Troubleshoot Epicor 10 / Kinetic issues
- Maintain and enhance corporate websites (WordPress) based on detailed specifications
- Create and maintain shell (CMD, PowerShell) scripts to support monitoring and automation
- Develop and maintain internal technical and user documentation
- Train and instruct end users on the proper use of business hardware and software e.g. Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (desktop), Adobe Acrobat, Epicor
- Partner with IT Director to support system migrations and upgrades
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Employee / applicants who receive offers of employment will be tested for controlled substances as a pre-condition for employment. The sample collection and testing will be for controlled substances. A positive test result for controlled substances will render an applicant disqualified for employment.
Negative and positive results will be reported to CSJB Holdings, Inc. If the results are positive, the controlled substance will be identified. The results will not be released to any other parties without an applicant's written authorization.
CSJB Holdings, Inc. will investigate applicants background and qualifications for purposes of evaluating whether an applicant is qualified for the position for which they are applying.
CSJB Holdings, Inc. will utilize an outside firm or firms to assist it in checking such information, and applicants specifically authorize such an investigation by information services and outside entities of the company's choice. Applicants may withhold their permission and that in such a case, no investigation will be done, and their application for employment will not be processed further.
Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
