SUMMARY
This position serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. Individual will be responsible for processing new RFQ's submitted by Sales Department, new contract reviews and updated pricing. Individual must be willing to build relationships with customers that encourage new business and repeat business opportunities. Coordinate project activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply.)
- Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
- Review all major deliverables (i.e. customer orders, blue prints, material requirements, technical specifications, etc.).
- Accurately read and interpret customer blueprints.
- Ensures the client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Customer Service Manager of any problems that may arise.
- Strong ability to interact with sales, customers, and suppliers for RFQ's (Request for Quotes) and quotes.
- Responsible for customer quotation activity and sample questions with timeliness and accuracy.
- Works closely with manufacturing and suppliers in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and / or opportunities with or related to a project.
- Work with project work teams to define project deliverables, project planning, etc.
- Provide quote status updates to management on periodic basis.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to make critical decisions related to product development.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow between project teams.
- Process RFQs, quotes, price updates, etc.
- Document and track RFQs and quotes submitted to customers. Assist with following up with quotes that are due / past due.
- Match supplier capabilities to customer requirements, submit and analyze supplier RFQs, and select appropriate suppliers to produce customer products.
- Assist Project Manager with coordinating new projects awarded to J&B from customer PO placement through sample approval.
- Customer document redaction.
- Perform new customer credit checks and follow ups.
- Identify, track and resolve issues.
- Responsible for detailed and accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills.
- Able to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment, meet tight deadlines and follow up on commitments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Employee / applicants who receive offers of employment will be tested for controlled substances as a pre-condition for employment. The sample collection and testing will be for controlled substances. A positive test result for controlled substances will render an applicant disqualified for employment.
Negative and positive results will be reported to CSJB Holdings, Inc. If the results are positive, the controlled substance will be identified. The results will not be released to any other parties without an applicant's written authorization.
CSJB Holdings, Inc. will investigate applicants background and qualifications for purposes of evaluating whether an applicant is qualified for the position for which they are applying.
CSJB Holdings, Inc. will utilize an outside firm or firms to assist it in checking such information, and applicants specifically authorize such an investigation by information services and outside entities of the company's choice. Applicants may withhold their permission and that in such a case, no investigation will be done, and their application for employment will not be processed further.
