Customer Account Specialist job summary
Our highly respected and long-standing manufacturing client is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to serve as the primary business contact for key accounts. This individual will be responsible for overall client satisfaction, processing new request for quotes on projects. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of building relationships with customers that encourage new business and repeat business opportunities. Customer Account Specialist responsibilities
- Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
- Review all major deliverables (i.e. customer orders, blueprints, material requirements, technical specifications, etc.)
- Ensure client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Customer Service Manager of any problems that arise.
- Strong ability to interact with sales, customers, and suppliers for RFQ's and quotes.
- Responsible for customer quotation activity with timeliness and accuracy for house accounts.
- Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and / or opportunities with or related to a project.
- Understand and provide departments with customer requirements and specifications.
- Provide regular input on all account activity, including new and existing project status.
- Work with project work teams to define project deliverables, project planning, etc.
- Coordinate project activities, ensure all project phases are documented appropriately and timely completion of new project launches.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow between project teams.
- Communicate honestly, professionally, and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills
