Role Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager works with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver talent solutions to improve business results for their assigned function(s) and/or region(s). They will create and oversee talent acquisition strategy development and execution including talent acquisition programs, metrics, tools and sourcing strategies. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

TALENT ACCQUISITION MANAGEMENT FAMILY - CORE

  • Partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to drive talent processes and human capital strategy for a broad cross section of the business.
  • Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellenceto deliver HR services and solutions in line with function and/or regional strategy (e.g. Talent Management, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations).
  • Partners with business leaders to develop sourcing strategies and solutions that deliver a pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs and address anticipated talent gaps.
  • Gathers and shares information with candidates throughout the recruitment process to position the company to successfully hire the individual.
  • Leads the selection team (hiring manager, interviewer, HR Director and HR coordinator) and ensures that everyone is aligned and executing toward the desired outcome.
  • Oversees the selection process including identifying and assessing candidates, conducting pre-screens, facilitating interviews and gathering candidate and management feedback.
  • Deploys interviewing and screening techniques to validate past behaviors and determine fit for the organization in order to accurately match candidates to given positions within the organizations; markets individuals to decision makers.
  • Manages recruitment procedures, metrics and tools to deliver an efficient, effective process and ensure positive hiring manager and candidate experiences.
  • Participates in the development of the enterprise recruitment marketing and sourcing strategy; leverages best practices and technologies to widen potential talent pool and develops and nurtures a network of contacts inside and outside the organization to identify top talent.
  • Stays current on hiring trends, competitor information and employment market conditions.
  • Fosters seamless collaboration across the geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition team to ensure ongoing organizational alignment.
  • Participates in and may lead the development and implementation of internal communication project plans and provides guidance to HRBPs and Business Leaders as appropriate.

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
  • Communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software.
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to effectively implement HR strategies to support business goals and positively impact the structure, culture, and effectiveness of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition practices, processes, and solutions and the ability to provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on a variety of talent related situations.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data and to recognize trends, solve complex problems and develop recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Solid influencing and facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, peers, candidates, subordinates and other members of management.
  • Ability to communicate business and technical information clearly.
  • Strong project management, organizing and planning skills.
  • Demonstrates behaviors and actions aligned with the JE Dunn Guiding Principles and competencies outlines in the JE Dunn Talent Framework.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field (Required)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered
Experience
  • 5 years of progressive recruiting experience
Working Environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • May require extensive periods of travel
  • Normal office environment
