Associate Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Support the private label product development and commercialization by leading packaging creation efforts and all related internal processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, finance, operations, distribution, regulatory throughout the commercialization process.
• Manage commercialization timelines, tracking key milestones and proactively addressing roadblocks.
• Manage relationships with third party design agencies and vendors as needed to complete the commercialization process for private label or contract manufacturing partners.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, whitespace opportunities and potential risks.
• Create sales materials, PowerPoint presentations and internal communications for new product launches and customer meetings.
• Point of contact for sales team for samples, sales projects support and all relevant product information (product presentations, item specifications, sales materials, etc.)
• Lead efforts on setting up new items and packaging components, packaging approvals and ensure that each project step is followed effectively and within the agreed timeline.
• Liaison between marketing & graphic design team for packaging, POS creation & proofing, and all marketing components.
• Assist with projects on an as-needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Comfortable presenting to executive team and large groups at sales meetings
• Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business discipline (Marketing preferred).
• 1-2 years marketing experience, food marketing a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel as needed to trade shows and meetings.
