Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to oversee budgeting, cost estimating, construction scheduling, and project management for residential and commercial remodeling projects. The Remodeling Estimator will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are planned, executed, and completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. This is a full-time position offering a base salary plus commission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple remodeling projects from design to execution, including estimating, billing, and project oversight.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and detailed construction schedules, presenting them in a work breakdown structure suitable for clients, project managers, and team members.
- Efficiently allocate resources for assigned projects in collaboration with office staff and field crews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, negotiate reasonable costs, and expand the pool of reliable subcontractors.
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks, paperwork, and reports related to project management and office operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in residential or commercial construction, with a focus on estimating and project management.
- Proven experience in cost estimating (familiarity with estimating software is a plus).
- Proficiency in construction project management software is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills and a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and project oversight.
- Integrity, reliability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
Travel:
- Primarily local travel during business hours, with occasional out-of-area travel as needed.
Compensation
- Pay: $70,000 - $80,000
