Overview: Our client, a real estate investment company that invests in logistics facilities, is seeking a long-term on-going temporary Project Manager. This role will be supporting the Operational Excellence (lean department) focused in process improvement/optimization, project management, change management, business operations, and reporting. Efforts include real estate operations, supporting technology systems, corporate functions, sales efforts, and new product line stand up. This Project Manager's vertical is working on Development and Capital Deployment projects. To be successful in this position, it requires a high level of professionalism, is innovation-minded, works well in teams, and has a track record of successfully delivering high-quality projects timely and within budget. This position is hybrid 1 day in-office on Tuesday's in Downtown Denver, CO. Applicants must live in the Greater Denver Metro area. Equipment will be supplied by the client (laptop).
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST with the flexibility to support meetings with other time requirements**
- Tuesday required in-office day

Job Duties:
- Acts as main point of contact within project team
- Coordinate, supervise and drive every facet of the assigned projects
- Drives with all aspects of project setup, including stakeholder analysis, schedule baselining, budget estimation, resource requirements, project kick off, & review cycle
- Monitors project status and provides regular updates through proactive communication to the project sponsor, leadership, and stakeholder group
- Reviews project data and invoicing for accuracy and completeness
- Plan, execute, monitor, control, document, and communicate all aspects of projects: cost, schedule, scope, technical performance, and resource use
- Plan, coordinate, monitor, and supports the project team
- Develop, manage, document, and communicate project schedules
- Prepare and communicate status reports
- Evaluate and resolve project issues to meet defined goals and objectives
- Develop, use, and maintain tools to monitor project progress
- Recommend changes and enhancements to project operations
- Manage project stakeholder expectations
- Plan, monitor, and control project scope
- Plan, monitor, document and execute mitigation plans for project risk
- Plan and conducts regular project meetings
- Plan and execute all project closing activities: project acceptance criteria, contract closure, compilation of lessons learned, and archiving of business artifacts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- 6 plus years of project management experience
- Experience in project estimating, budget management, and scheduling
- Self-motivated and ability to multi-task, prioritize and resolve sophisticated issues
- Practical knowledge in the use of data for reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts
- Ability to apply statistical and other research methods
- Ability to understand the organization’s goals and objectives
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses (ROI) for new efforts & proposed changes
- Instinct to ask relevant probing questions that get to the “why” behind business requests
- Comfortable with consensus building and soliciting constructive feedback
- Proven track record to make recommendations and decisions that balance a variety of factors (e.g., cost, risk, short-term vs. long-term impact) and are supported by a sound fact-base to achieve an efficient outcome
