What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant position at J.P. Sicard,Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned
-Assist Mechanical Shop Supervisor with Tasks to include oversight of shop inventory, ordering, approving invoices, entering into AP system.
-Run scale house when the gravel pit is open (seasonal)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles
- Proficient in data entry skills and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of Heavy Equipment and Truck Parts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using Excel, Word preferred and Foundations accounting software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
