Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. The Student Success Coach supports student persistence, achievement, and overall success through proactive coaching and guidance. This role helps students navigate their academic journey, connect with resources, and achieve their goals through self-discovery and intrusive academic support, particularly for underrepresented groups. By leveraging data-driven interventions and meaningful engagement, the Success Coach fosters a culture of support that enhances retention and completion. Additionally, this role collaborates with stakeholders to promote wellness initiatives and advance a campus-wide commitment to student success.

Enhance the retention and success of low-income students at Reynolds Community College by providing proactive, holistic coaching and support services. Through personalized academic guidance, resource connection, and data-driven interventions, the Student Success Coach will foster an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers students to achieve their educational and professional goals.
