What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at J.W. Didado Electric?
Receptionist /Office Assistant
Position includes, but not limited to the following:
- Answer busy multi-line phone, transfer calls and relay messages
- Open main office doors daily
- Greet visitors and direct clients and guests
- Answer gate phone and provide access to shipping docks
- Open, date stamp, sort and scan mail
- Create FedEx labels and track FedEx shipments
- Retrieve checks and maintain stock sign-in and sign-out logs
- Make copies of check payments and prepare deposit sheet
- Maintain company sign-in sheets
- Maintain lobby supplies
- Order meeting lunches as requested by management
- Help maintain/clean up meeting rooms and kitchens as needed
- Monitor company faxes and contact emails and forward accordingly
- Backup to Office Assistant and their daily activities when needed
- Assist PCard/Fuel Card manager with organizing turned in receipts
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Software Applications
- Good Customer Service, Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Effective Problem Solving, Customer Service and Time Management Skills
