J.W. Jung Seed Company is a family owned and operated mail-order and retail Company that ships quality seeds, plants and gardening accessories to all 50 states. We have six garden centers in the state of Wisconsin with our corporate headquarters located in Randolph, WI.
We are currently seeking a Seasonal Garden Center Associate to join our location for the 2025 season. This seasonal position, running spring into summer, may offer the opportunity for longer term employment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform cashiering duties
- Provide excellent customer service through all aspects of the customers’ buying experience
- Help customers find products to suit their needs
- Assist with watering and pruning
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Previous cash handling experience (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, soils, insecticides and disease related topics (preferred but not required)
- Enjoy working with a variety of customers from a diverse background
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Can stand, squat, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
