What You'll Actually Do:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees
- Administer policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Manage ADA, FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave programs
- Oversee benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee education
- Support performance management, rewards, and recognition systems
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations matters with care and discretion
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Maintain and optimize the HRIS (ADP WorkforceNow preferred), including data accuracy and reporting
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices
- Collaborate on HR strategy, process improvements, and employee engagement initiatives
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field (or equivalent years of experience)
- 1 year experience in a professional HR role
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification are always welcome but not required
- Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and leave administration
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP WorkforceNow a plus)
- Hands-on experience administering benefits and managing FMLA/disability cases
- Skilled in conducting thorough and fair HR investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you’re approachable, empathetic, and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask, stay organized, solve problems, and build trust across all levels of the organization
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation $25-$31/hour
- 100% in Helena office
- 401K | 85% Employer-paid healthcare & 90% Employer-paid Dental and Vision | 3 weeks PTO
