How will you make an impact? -
As the Quality Technician you will assist the Quality Engineering function, providing technical support in issues affecting manufacturing, supporting, and driving corrective action efforts and continuous improvements.
What will you do? -
- Operate precision quality control equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, comparators, multimeters) to assess part quality & perform / document cosmetic, functional, and dimensional inspections as per the product quality plan.
- Evaluate product and process acceptability based on sampling results.
- Authorize the acceptance of conforming materials, rejection of non-conforming lots, and proper segregation and documentation of non-conforming materials.
- Conduct startup inspections and audits following Jabil documented procedures (LPA & FAI).
- Notify shift supervisors of non-conforming conditions for corrective action (QRQC), segregate / purge non-conforming products to prevent errors and maintain product quality, securing all materials are placed in the MRB area
- Communicate effectively with the next shift's quality technician about machine, product and quality issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety, housekeeping (6S), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections / process to provide verbal and written reports to supervisors regarding defects / issues found in products / mfg. line
