Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $17.50 - $28.68 Hourly
Job Shift: Day (Mon-Fri Some Weekends)
Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Handle all Accounts Receivable duties including, but not limited to:
- Invoicing, mailing monthly statements, collection of payments, managing customer inquiries, and collection of past due accounts.
- Prepare deposits and apply payments correctly in accounting system.
- Record bank transfers and ACH deposits, and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Collect 1099 and W9 tax forms.
- Order and dispense office supplies for all departments.
- Assist with Title 31 compliance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-year degree in Accounting and 2 years experience in office setting.
- More years of experience or higher level of education can be substitute for min. requirements.
- Experience in casino industry a plus.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Strong computers/software experience/skills/adaptability.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Sage accounting systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently with high productivity.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Mobility throughout the facility.
- Able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
