Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $85,688.21 Salary
Job Shift: Morning/Afternoon ( Weekends)
Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Oversee all front of house Dacotah Dining operations and staff.
- Consistently manage all aspects of Dacotah Dining to ensure the best possible response from staff and guests.
- Develop, maintain and enforce Dacotah Dining policies and procedures.
- Enforce Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain established labor costs.
- Keep complete and accurate records of sales, guest counts, labor costs, staff procedures and paperwork.
- Hire new staff members and ensure that they are properly trained according to Dacotah Dining policies and procedures.
- Plan for anticipated workloads and schedule staff accordingly.
- Evaluate and adjust staff levels according to business needs.
- Cover work schedules as needed.
- Create an environment focused on exceptional guest service.
- Promptly address guest complaints with a positive attitude.
- Address staff concerns according to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
- Promote a high level of morale, productivity and efficiency.
- Promptly and accurately communicate all concerns with Dacotah Dining Supervisor to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen regarding menu development.
- Coordinate with kitchen to ensure guests needs are being met in a timely manner.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings.
- Build and maintain positive lines of communication with staff.
- Perform various dining area functions as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous management experience in high volume dining required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Knowledge of staff scheduling.
- Ability to work and maintain composure under stressful conditions.
- Ability to strive for guest satisfaction in a high volume environment.
- Ability to maintain a high energy level.
- Ability to be a proactive planner.
- Ability to multi-task.
